Today I’m going to ask you the question that you should really ask yourself every morning before you start work.  

How are you going to deliver service as a world class Finance Business Partner today?  

Get intentional about your day! It’s so easy (& normal by the way) to get swallowed up and you start your day without thinking, because you’ve just got the kids to school, “you’ve had this and this” or “I need to bring the plumber”  – your head is full of all this stuff.  

We need to think we want to be world class!  We need to think like a world class athlete! 

No one goes onto a tennis court, a cycle track, an athletics track or start a marathon thinking about the kids and the plumber and what is happening at home.  

You have a clear head! You are very focused and intentional about your day ahead and about the task ahead! 

And that’s what I want for you today, this simple question to ask yourself at the start of every day.  

“How am I going to deliver service as a world class Finance Business Partner today?”
