This week we’re very excited because our Queen is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee that is 70 years on the throne!

Ladies and gentlemen! 70 years of work have a duty of service to her people, absolutely extraordinary. I’m sure you’ll agree, we’re really looking forward to celebrating here in the UK later this week.

That brings me to today’s question Finance Business Partners, this is something we ask the Finance Business Partners in our membership every single month and there is a place in the Members Lounge for them to commit to it.

We ask them every month, “How intentional and focused are you about delivering great service and great value as World Class Finance Business Partners today, this week, or this month?”

Like I say, they can actually commit and right in the Members Lounge and say how they are going to deliver service today to make that commitment and to make sure they’re focusing on doing the right thing working on the right activities.

Focusing like the Queen, on absolute duty and service to getting your stakeholders across the finishing line to achieving strategic priorities in your organisation to help others make smarter, more informed decisions, by helping them understand the numbers and by helping others run their departments better.

All those things are adding incredible value and delivering real service as Finance Business Partners.
