Finance for non-finance managers courses

Training built for managers who have never worked in finance. Finance Training Academy runs one, two and three day courses that teach your team to read the numbers, question them and act on them. No accountancy background needed, and no jargon.

**IN HOUSE DELIVERY, BUILT AROUND YOUR TEAM**

You do not need a finance background

Non-finance managers do not need an accountancy qualification to run a budget well. They need to understand what the numbers are telling them. Most people get promoted for being good at something else entirely, and then a budget lands on their desk. Our finance for non-finance managers courses start from exactly that point.

  • Budgets, management accounts, cash flow and the profit and loss, in plain English
  • Taught by qualified professionals who have worked at Finance Director level
  • Regular refreshers courses available

Trusted by the NHS, Ofcom, Sky, Amey, Surrey County Council and many others

Who these courses are for?

Do you struggle to understand complex numbers and financial jargon? Our finance for non-finance managers courses are tailored specifically for managers, heads of department and directors who own a budget but have never been taught to read a financial report. Financial management for non-financial managers is not about turning anyone into an accountant. It is about being able to follow the conversation, challenge a number that looks wrong, and build a case that finance will take seriously. We train people from operations, marketing, HR, engineering and various other backgrounds – offering a range of training designed specifically with non-finance managers in mind.
